aside from a minor bug the first time i launched the game the game has been playing flawlessly on ultra settings

yup you are right you don't have to craft anything, but some people like to do it, and in order to do so you need the purchased status, or premium as you call it. i'm not saying it is the only way to get the items you want, hell some people get everything they want out of trading

yes it is, you can't do any crafting without having spent something on the mannco store, the lowest priced item was .50 USD and you have to keep doing so at least once a year, if you bought the game when it still had a price tag you never have to do this
