It’s like, maybe you can experience a culture without judging it? And other opinions besides the American one are relevant? Maybe not...

Fidel Castro is generally still well regarded in Cuba by average Cubans... I was there when Obama announced the lifting of the embargo and while most of them were excited and expressed dissatisfaction with the living conditions, I didn’t encounter anyone who had anything bad to say about him
