How about the fact that I charge mine when I sleep? That being said, considering my dog also shares the bed, I would prefer to limit the number of electronic devices sharing my sheets to a minimum of...say...none. At which point, the app becomes appsolutely useless because I can't position it so it falls when I sleep.

Oh, you didn't know? When person A is going through a life-changing event, suddenly EVERYONE in person A's extended circle immediately becomes experts in that particular field of interest.

Ugh, I hate you Melanie. Now I wanna spend the rest of the day in the kitchen :p

Love the idea except for one thing - the only reason I'd even have a beer is for the alcohol. lol

I'm now left to wonder if the authors and editors at Lifehacker, Gizmodo, and all other Gawker sites even try out the shit they write about before sharing it. No offense, Walter, but crappy suggestions is starting to become a pattern on Lifehacker - apps that leave much to be desired are frequently praised as though

So bug iTunes and get a refund. If you explain that the app doesn't work the way you expected it to, it's grounds for an exception to the no-refund policy. I've gotten countless refunds from them for apps that did similar crap. It usually takes 3-5 days to get the refund, but if you're really ticked about it, go for

True. Either way, the other reasons still stand lol

Dude.…we're talking insurance companies here.….IT'S NEVER GOING TO MAKE SENSE!!!

Because this would require a low-level configuration that is too deep for most people to care about building. On top of that, Ubuntu really isn't the best distro to build off of - despite the fact that everyone does it.

Have you ever tried exposing corruption in your local police department? Ever try shedding light in shady activities in your local government? How about standing up for your beliefs and speaking out on a controversial subject? Trust me, there's always someone out there waiting to put a bull's eye on your chest for

If you don't "get it", you likely don't "need it."

Go home, you're ignorant.

I always scoff at people when Facebook changes things. They bitch about it for a week or two and whine about how they miss the old design. Yet, ironically, but not unexpectedly, they whined and complained about the old design when it was new too.

If you only knew what they do to it when you DON'T get specific like this :p

Your ignorance is showing.

There's an easier way, switch to Linux

Also worth noting, they may do like Google does with files. Last I heard, Google will remove a "permanently deleted" file from your account, completely dissociating it from you. The actual data, however, will still only be marked for deletion when their next cleanup tasks run. So the data may not ACTUALLY be deleted

Thanks for pointing that out. It explains why some files I deleted are unrecoverable after that period.

Windows, ReactOS (Windows-like but technically not Windows), Mac OS X, Linux, BSD (more "UNIX-like" than Linux, as it's a direct descendant), BeOS, or Haiku (a BeOS-inspired project).
