You could provided a bunch of people take on the pyro at the same time. The real huge gut punch is the immunity to knockback effects they added to it. Like you could at least air blast the pyro away <hopefully off a cliff>, but now, forget it.

Meanwhile another Pyro weapon that some consider to be less skill-oriented, the Phlogistinator, got buffed with a brief taunt invincibility period.
