So are we going to see more Hugh Grant in this? Because I am here for Hugh Grant. I fell in love with him when the elevator opened in Bridget Jones and haven't looked back. I love his darker characters. I thought Nicole looked beautiful. She went through a bad Botox phase and it seems to have run its course. I would

I watched this last night and loved it. Audrey is stunning, her clothes divine. And I loved seeing Cary Grant still being such a goddamn movie star. I love watching him in ANYTHING. I did notice that Audrey’s red Givenchy coat seemed very familiar..

Hey key mistake was not having a penis when she said to him, “Are you ready for some tough questions?” It put him on his heels and off his game for the rest of their interaction. Also it hurts his feelings if you don’t acknowledge what a wonderful job he’s been doing, kidnapping only 500+ children and killing just 220,

I love the Hitchcock version so much. It seems like I forget the ending each time I start watching it again. I always thoughts Mrs. Danvers would be a great name for a cat. This also reminds me I want to watch Olivier in “Wuthering Heights” again. Oh to go to Manderley AND the Moors- dream vacation!

I think that’s part of what made this so watchable. Yes- terrible things happening- but there is also a grown man calling himself “Nippy”, a longhaired idiot (sorry- GENIUS) making people play volleyball(!) all night, then go for compulsive late-night strolls where the idiot talked and talked but said NOTHING. And the

Well he WAS a Judo champion at age 11.

I couldn't figure it out either.

I remember being that young and still thinking without (often) questioning that grownups do the right thing. Why would they do something bad? To me? They wouldn’t, right? I’d like to think the collateral would be a huge dealbreaker. But if your friends are doing it- And it’s this person you’ve grown to trust- I

I just keep wanting to look at these beautiful young women and say, "Him?" "THAT guy?" "Really?" "I mean - you see what I'm seeing, right?" "HIM?!?!"

In “The Vow”, (branded victim) Sarah Edmondsen said that she was first told it was the mountain thing. Then they were told it is also Keith’s initials. Then (after she was branded) she found out that if you look at it another way, you see the AM for Allison Mack. It was designed by Keith and Allison. Sarah said she

I don't blame her though. I would hold on to that "Princess" title until it was ripped from my cold, dead hands. And I too would name-drop "Charles" at every given opportunity.

I thought it was hilarious in the episode where her mother the princess came to visit. Even Catherine Oxenberg gets shit from her mother.

It is hard to tell with Mack and Raniere who played who. But it seems like they both were able to use each other to get what they each wanted. Folie a deux?

That was awkward when Catherine Oxenberg was joking about the dogbed for Bonnie (which reminded me of Michael Scott and Jan’s dinner party on “The Office”) and Keith harrumphed about moving past a trauma. DUDE. Your wife slept in a dogbed. Let her have a laugh with Catherine Oxenberg.

That scene with her and Keith meeting for the first time was SO GROSS. Just- stomach turning. When she talked about him “popping her (metaphorical) cherry” - just - didn’t we all have SUPER dramatic friends like that in high school? UGH

The female victims talked about it in “The Vow” (HBO documentary). It’s also mentioned in the Jezebel article up top. But I am definitely going to watch the Starz thing too.

I think so! Moral of the story- don’t fuck with Catherine Oxenberg.

I did! :)

Also Catherine Oxenberg is the hero of this tale. She got the story out there- years ago I remember reading about it- and never let up. Totally kickass and super-impressive mama bear. India is so lucky to have her mom in her corner.

Watching “The Vow” on HBO- Raniere is a gross, schlubby low-level David Koresh. But Alison Mack is fascinating. She is so manipulative with the “sudden” tears and little-girl affect and she totally got these vulnerable young women to give her blackmail fodder and thousands of dollars. Really a master class in criminal
