I loved the fact that many jumped straight to the plastic being from a BMW...

Exactly. People want dull and boring. That’s why it looks like everything else. If it looks different, it won't sell.

Bland. Boring. Hey, it works though and people love it.

Why do people insist on driving an SUV that is far too large to be on the road?

It is not Land Rover’s fault. It’s the consumers fault! Y’all are boring! People just want boring, automatic, grocery-getters. Two doors look slick. Forget practicality! Lob the roof off of it and have fun!

Ugh, BMWs have that unlock button in the middle. My Bimmer is so damn low, that it is hard to reach when standing outside of the car.

Awesome! Good luck!

“Better tires, get rid of running boards, and jack it up a few inches” So, basically a jeep Grand Cherokee? My point is, an SUV should be judged on it’s capability right from the factory. Anybody can put a lift kit and bigger tires on any vehicle and make it better off road. I do mean any vehicle, think VW Golf.

This little guy would be perfect for most people. Gets through the snow just fine. Handles decently and much better than any full-size SUV/truck (don’t bring up SRT8 type jeeps). And gets decent MPGs.

Eh, you don’t need rear brakes anywho.

Also in MI and had a 3 series X drive. No problems. Still should put snow tires on it though. Just get some cheap steelies and cheap snow tires, change them yourself.

Don’t get the 180hp Gas I4. Just don’t, it’s gutless. It might be okay for a non- enthusiast.

Ha, no. There was a little plastic piece that people were putting in their intakes. The piece was supposed spin the air and make the car can HP and MPGs...

Perfect.

I don’t care if it was, and I can hardly type it, a Prius. No one should be vandalizing anybody’s car.

People get sucked into the aftermarket advertisements. The power gains and superior build quality crap. Heck, when I was a young gun I got suckered into some aftermarket parts (but not that intake tornado thing.)

They are love it or hate it looks. Yes, I happen to love the looks. I love them so much, I bought out my 1 series (closest I could get to a 1M). The 1M is just even meaner looking than my M sport. Stubby, cutoff, and goofy looking. I don’t care, I love it.

If you want your car to last, always use OEM. Engineered to work with your car. Heck, always use OEM oil filters.

David, I am digging’ your posts! They are thorough and point out many safety checks everybody should be doing.

With 180hp , you can’t outrun a fart.
