Yes, yes, and yes!

I will continue to argue that modern cars are too easy to drive. Automatic transmissions, automatic braking, automatic cruise control, etc. Now you can check Facebook on the radio. Why the hell does anybody need to to that? The easier the car is to drive, the easier it is to text and check your Facebook.

The problem comes in is when the motorcyclist is in an accident with a car and dies/severe TBI as a result of no helmet. Motorcycles are dangerous to start with, and without a helmet just plain stupid.

Yes, you are correct. Personally, while I love the power, the 135i will have more issues (think turbo maintenance, HPFPs, etc,) and the heavier engine makes it a little less “dart-y”.

Yes! Those are great Bimmers too!!!

An older 128i are holding steady right around the $20k mark.

Drop in BMW’s 240+HP engine (+AWD) and then we can talk business. The Clubman, countryman, etc are a little too portly for the 180hp mill they put under the hood. Let alone the non S variants...

60,000 miles is usually when things start breaking, wearing out, and needing more expensive maintenance. He is allowed to celebrate in another 60k if nothing goes wrong...

YES! SORRY!!! I don’t know how I forgot! Me of all people.lol Mine is a manual!!! #savethemanuals

Yes I am a little biased, but you might want to include the 128i into the loop. Yes, that’s the one with the NA straight six. The turbo has the power, but the NA I6 in the 1 series was just about BMW’s last enthusiast’s car. Stiff chassis, small, nimble, high revving straight 6, and maybe the most important...

It’s usually ‘Murican cars. Mini Vans, pickup trucks, oversized SUVs, etc

They also need to crack down on cell phone use in the cars too. Texting while driving is just as bad, if not worse, than DWI. It should have just as stiff consequences too.

Most truck buyers could get away with a station wagon or mini van. Both of those options would be better for them too and everybody around them. 98.9% of pickup truck drivers don’t tie anything down in the back of the truck! Yeah, I get a little grumpy when your mattress flies at me at 70mph.

American Luxury = 50lbs of extra chrome. Nothing says luxury like seeing your face in the bumper from 3 miles away.

Man oh man, I miss my Ol’ Cherokee. Such versatility!

Yes it probably has too much power. And yes it probably is too tall. However, I heard people really loved their old SRT jeeps. They are fast on the sunny days and in two feet of snow.

A gimmik. People have too many things in their hands while driving. Cell phones, shavers, hamburgers, beer, etc

I only see those “buy ‘Murican” stickers on OLD American cars. Usually from the 90’s or early 2000’s. I have always thought, “man this person has not helped out the community for almost 20 years.” I put more money into the community leasing my German cars then these folks do.

Sounds like a good plan! I would not mind rolling in the new Disco for awhile. Land Rover should have sold the Defender in the US all along...

BOOK IT!!!! RUN!!!
