To be honest I find it stupid that the marshalls are allowed to line the track in the cool-down lap. It’s not like the cars were going at walking pace. It may be time to revisit those rulebooks.

Then you have those hillclimb races we host in our european alpine mountain roads which are technically the same as used in rally stages. Some open wheels including gp2 / F3000 / formula nippon cars are racing in those events. But you really don’t want to crash and fatalities are sadly still common events.

My brain can compute why someone would want to daily drive a jetta when a 911 is waiting in the garage. If there is a sports car made to be daily drivable, this is the 911.
Looks like you take it backward. If teens didn’t have access to car, public transportation would develop faster. 40min of cycling is great for your health. I’ve been doing 1h20 of cycling 2 times a day for 3 years, it was great.
