The sad fact is that many of today’s pirates are fishermen, who have been put out of business by much more efficient fishing fleets from the industrialized world. The EU is but one entity that has paid local goverments handsomely for the right to fish (and effectlively empty) their territorial waters.

Best alternative use of the V8 FWD unit was for this Swedish three-wheeled transporter. The 50 cc version was used for inspiration.

Years ago someone here in Denmark suggested using regular car engines for space, by simply removing the internals, so explosions could fire out downwards without any hindrances. I never heard if it went beyond the concept stage.
