I want one!

I have been photographing professionally for over 10 years. I trained on film so maybe I'm just dated but here are my thoughts:

When did I ever mention anything about my definition of what is and is not art? I do think a definition of art that thinks George Vlosich is a better artist than Damian Hirst is kinda silly, but other than that, you're projecting. Also talking a lot.

Meanwhile on Earth, my pics of the ground don't get nearly the same attention.

Greed? If she's so talented that people will (and do) buy millions of her albums, then why shouldn't she make tons of money. That's a lot of talent. Music is art and as such it is subjective. Just because you don't like her doesn't mean millions of people around the world don't. And if they do, then why shouldn't she

There's a great (yet admittedly hard-to-read at times) novel from Kim Stanley Robinson (the guy who wrote that fantastic Mars trilogy) called The Years of Rice and Salt. It's a really good alt-history "what if" novel. It pretty much proposes the same idea.

His quote of the Grandpa Quill scene being too sad is one of the reasons I do not love these movies. They take away true, meaningful scenes that add realinks meat because it might bring us down a little bit and make us do something other than laugh. They aren't awful movies and there is some interesting characters in

For this guy, the apocalypse has already happened.

"The two were supposedly married by the Pharaoh of Egypt and had two sons."

Really? Married by the Pharaoh were they? Funny thing about that...there were no more Pharaohs in Jesus' time. Egypt was a Roman province for two and half decades before Jesus was even born.

After that, Augustus and the subsequent Emperors

There is a hugely disproportionate number of black single parents in the South, which is why you see singles highly represented in this map. Nearly three out of four black children are born in and will grow up in a single parent household. It's a huge social issue with the black community.

No. You're misunderstanding my statement. Please stop being insufferable.

Great point. Your roommate's sister-in-law would totally be up the creek if these crackpots get their way. Thanks for chiming in with your story.

For the record, I'll tell you exactly why we'll never get what we want out of Net Neutrality? Because Americans LOVE to be treated like shit. We love horrible customer service, bad policy, getting less than our money's worth, and doing business with companies that only serve to add stress to our lives.

"What you want is what everyone wants: an open Internet that doesn't affect your business. What I've got to figure out is how to split the baby."

If they had a color for "Married but fooling around on the side", the entire map would shift drastically toward that color.

I would read and watch The Last Temptation of Christ (a favorite Jesus book and movie among non-Christians, as well as Christians who actually have working brains), which explores this idea pretty well.

You don't compound the cancer rate as you age. The 40% (it's closer to 40%) cancer rate means that you have a 2/5 chance of getting it just because you exist.

I also assume that number is somewhat decreasing or staying still. Cancer incidence rates have been dropping or staying steady recently. There's really nothing

How does one prepare for some kind of cancer?

You lost me at compost toilet and gravity shower.

The short answer is "Because girls are icky." The longer answer is because they consider sex (which includes *thinking* about sex) to be so vile and sinful that it results in instant damnation, and the only reason anyone should risk it is that pesky "propagation of the species" thing.
