Right... and we're building computers smarter and smarter to make their "own" decisions... maybe we already have?

"Wait... a girl did math? It can only mean one thing..... SHE'S A WITCH!"
Yup, was gonna say the same thing... Tooooooo soooooon.
Agreed, I can compile any software from source when necessary, but I really have extremely little patience for it. I've done it all (so to speak), I've run my own FreeBSD server, created my own Linux setup, run a server from within both, etc etc etc. In the end though, I don't need to do all of that. I have my server…
Trust me, there's LOTS of difference between Linux and Windows with or without an app store (hey Apple, I just used the term "app store", I'm sure you know where to find me).
No, why would I be sarcastic?
This is HUGE. I can attest to how amazing a simple feature like this would be. You have no idea how often I sit staring at a list of, say, audio transcoding apps trying to decide which one to try out first. Not wanting to bother with the hassle of installing, testing, uninstalling, then installing another one again.
My next phone will be a minimum of 4". 4.3" or more if I can manage it. I'm currently using a Milestone with a 3.7" screen and it's at the limit of what I find acceptable.
Ya I've known about this for a while. There's been a few health articles and studies in the past few year.
I was soooo thinking of that while reading this! We could also use some RAD-X.
Yes, radiation is all around us, a lot of it artificially created (as in we created it through some means). Also is why they ask you when you get an xray if you've HAD an xray within x amount of months, because the effects are accumulative. The amounts we are exposed to regularly are for the most part benign and not…
Really? Having worked in condo renovations for 10 years I don't even flinch at this. I just look at it and think "at least this guy used a surge protector". This is nothing, this would meet every worldwide standard compared to the stuff I've seen. I wish I took pictures of all of it.
@w1llk - Undoubtedly Cookies: I was thinking the same thing.
Why does this "article" just link to another article on Gizmodo and force you to use the crappy new layout?
@BabylonAndOn: I think it was perfect for the video.
"i'm assuming they're referring to car stereo systems that actually read and process MP3 files (and not burned audio discs or auxilary audio sources)"
In soviet Russia, toy sexes YOU!
Low, dude. Very low.
