Guardians was great but otherwise I am right there with you.

Just get rid of Mitchell and Cam would automatically become more bearable. Mitchell is by far the least funny character on the show and only serves plot device purposes.

The Big Bang Theory has actually added two major characters over the years (who weren't children added in an effort to boost sagging ratings). Not a lot of shows can say that.

Koontz actually said he would have sued but the movie was such a piece of crap that he didn't want people associating him with it. By the way, Aja initially denied having read Koontz's book and then later admitted he had and it 'inspired' him.

Burton just needs to stay the hell away from remakes. When he does 'original' (at least in movie form) he does pretty great. However, POTA and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory were crimes against humanity.

I agree the others were pretty weak except for Conquest which kicked ass. Escape had a couple of moments but Beneath and Return were pretty awful all around.

Conquest is such an underrated movie.

Actually you are only looking at the first of the Planet of the Apes movies. If you have seen the other original Apes movies you will see it isn't that simple. However you are right that they do stray from that series of events as well,
