I completely agree that Leonard was an asshole when he told her she had a one in a million shot. He deserved to be punched in the face fir that comment. Talk about unsupportive and kicking someone while they are down.
And yes, they make Penny way too dumb at moments and it really bugs me when it happens.

Sorry but no way was Penny ever the "villain" of the episode. Leonard didn't just tell her the truth that it would be hard and might not happen, he straight up tells her she will never really succeed at acting. He is a total sh*theel to her. Her anger at him is completely justified.

I actually took his terrible acting as intentional. A joke about how bad child actors are and how terribly they are usually written.

Amen.

They virtually never do on TV programs because of glare.

I like Wiig in everything BUT her SNL stuff. Her characters are grating and I don't find them remotely funny. Outside of SNL I think she is great.

They are still desperately trying to erase that from the shows history.

And from I have heard Kattan was a royal pain in the ass who was pretty much hated by everyone.

Of course he was also in Mean Girls also. However, he wasn't complaining about Tina so it is kind of irrelevant.

I listened to that DLM episode and it sounded to me that he threatened to stop doing the show at the UCB theater, not that he would stop doing the show altogether. I interpreted this to mean he was simply threatening to change locations. Could be wrong though.
Another great podcast I don't see mentioned anywhere here

No, none of that happened. Still might be the girls but that never happened. Carol yelled at them for naming the zombies, not feeding them.

You make a good point about season 3 but I think you misinterpreted Romero's criticism. He was disappointed that the show didn't make more social and political commentary (and using the zombie for this purpose). He complained that it was too much of a soap opera and no real depth. Romero doesn't want 'just a zombie

It is called a "cliffhanger". The kid is fine. Guaranteed.

They haven't for pretty much anything else so why should they here?

Ok, that was simply awesome.

If you believe Judith is dead than I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

A-. This is how season 3 should have ended. I think they realized they screwed up big time and this was a 'correction'. Very satisfied.

Well yeah, that is a good point but people seem to have a wide range of turnover time from immediate to seemingly at least 24 hours. I have just learned to live with it and not question. It is actually a problem in lots of zombie films also.

Pete did turn into a zombie, he was in the water, weighed down with a chain, at the end when the Gov is looking at him. The guy in the cabin didn't turn because he committed suicide by blowing his brains out.

Don't forget Big Bang also added Melissa Rauch (Bernadette). Personally I like her more than Amy.
