I also see this argument a lot and honestly would like to see a single case where IP rights were eroded due to the existence of non-profit fan games and server revivals. Just a single case would sway me but I’ve never heard of one.

Somebody always pops up to say this, and that somebody is almost always wrong. Copyright does not require any sort of affirmative defense in any way shape or form. It can be enforced as narrowly and selectively as one likes, so there is no compulsion for EA to stop the distribution of the code here. Trademark (which…
Wow fuck this guy.
I dont think they have much to worry about for PUBG. Its a completely different market then they are after.
Makes you wonder what he is willing to do when hundreds of people aren’t watching/listening. I hope she can find safety.
tldr because it wouldn’t produce the amount of money over a long period of time like shark cards would
Unfortunately it’s powered by diesel and has 3 open recalls on it.
That is very nice, it actually looks official too unlike some other unofficial ships. It seems like the kind of ship the empire would have actually made, and one that the First Order would have borrowed heavily from.
Alternatively, you could just not buy the games while respecting the intellectual property rights of games generally. A game not being worth the price is common. Piracy in response to that is not an ethical choice because you get something (the experience of playing the game) for nothing, and without the makers’…
Well, no one buys an XB1 for Japanese games
That’s beside the point, the point is that Microsoft with the 360 made a lot of effort when it comes to japan and japanese games, and it worked, the system had a lot of japanese games, sold a lot better than the first Xbox in japan and even in the european market, because the european market loves japanese games.
5000 players vs probably their 4-5 million active subscribers? Yeah I don’t think Blizzard even remotely care about legacy server lol
Isn’t great how everyone in the legacy server movement behaves so professionally.
Just the latest reminder that money-grubbing has gone off the rails in the videogame industry.
The problem with that is that the more you’re exposed to the skin, the less value it would seem to hold. Why would you want the skin that everyone else is wandering around in?
I mean, unless it’s Overwatch skins, I don’t really think it’d be that effective. Heck I can’t even tell what is exotic half the time I’m playing with people unless I already have said exotic.
But yea if this shows up in Overwatch then I’m screwed...
I recommend knitting and mushrooming, very cozy and useful for the fall and winter months.
If I had a nickel for the number of times I’ve heard “just ignore it, you don’t need to buy them, they literally don’t affect the game at all” :\
I need to get a new hobby, one that doesn’t involve micro transactions and dlc.
lol, Activision was jealous of EA’s negative press day, I guess.
