Oh, the historical inaccuracy was mocked quite mercilessly too:

Speaking of entitled SoCal bicyclists, I hate it when they act like they have the right-of-way when they’re riding on the sidewalk instead of the marked bicycle lane.

What model year are you talking about? I’ve had to remove light fixtures on a 2001 Silverado and a 2000 Suburban, and they just had a couple of retention pins to remove. With the pins out, the whole light fixture came right out the front, allowing easy access to the bulb sockets.

Maybe just the leg pushing on the gas pedal gets the ticket?

In many cases, that would actually be a violation of their own EULA, which would open the publisher up ro legal action.

Whew! Now you can get notified of each and every one.

Nope, they’re in California, too.

Kept around by Tracy’s work? Do you administer tetanus shots?

Agreed. I’ve driven a stick shift in LA traffic that’s moving too slow for first gear, and it’s not the slightest bit fun. Either ride your clutch until it burns out, or spend so much time shifting in and out of gear that you’ve worn away all the cartilage in your left knee.

Wait a minute... You mean to tell me that volume discounts AREN’T math errors?! What kind of heresy is this?

In a world where people can only afford a few games per year, the metric still has value. I’d even go so far as to call it an encouraging sign, because someone trying to maximize the value of the money they’re spending on games isn’t simply saying, “Screw it, I’ll just pirate the game.”

Nobody said it had to be the only metric. Quality of a game is still the prime concern. But if I had to return to the poverty-stricken days of my youth, I’d be far more willing to dump $60 on a quality game that will keep me entertained for the next several months, than to pay $60 for a game that’s going to give up

It’s not something I would ever concern myself with now, but when I was a young, perpetually broke child, this sort of thing did matter to me. I never consciously turned it into a dollars-per-hour evaluation, but I did tend to prefer games that could provide a lot of playtime, because there was no telling when I’d

Now playing

Full multiplayer was never a promised feature.

Definitely shows how important the F-150 is to Ford if they’re willing to do daily international flights to keep the parts supply going. I wonder how much more it’s costing Ford to do that?

Yep, between buying a replacement alternator that was DOA and a water pump that’s leaking after less than a year, I’m increasingly distrustful of “new” parts, especially if they’re not made by a manufacturer known for quality. At least with the DOA alternator I was able to use parts from it to fix my original failed

That’s a great concept in theory, but unless I missed the part where they taught that one weird trick invented by a mom that collision repair shops hate, leaving myself an out is not always possible. If a concrete barrier is to my right, and heavy LA traffic is zipping by at 50+mph to my left, what kind of out could I

Stopped cars don’t have that kind of maneuverability, and that’s assuming there’s actually somewhere to go. When I was rear-ended in a crash some years back, I recognized that I was about to get hit. Unfortunately for me, there was a stopped truck right in front of me, a solid line of traffic to my left, and an even

I have to admit, I did in fact laugh out loud.

My only problem with that is the idiot might also take out other more intelligent people out of the gene pool in the process.
