As a non-book reader, I have to say I think this show has been a mess so far. A beautiful, Bryan Fuller-y mess, but a mess nonetheless. I loved the pilot and the fourth episode, both of which told linear, coherent stories about compelling characters. But every time the gods show up with no explanation of who they are,

I live right outside very liberal Seattle. I drive by a giant TRUMP sign erected in someone's yard every time I go to the gym. The urge to stop and throw rotten fruit at it is strong.

Please, donut disturb the Ariana Grande love-fest happening in these comments.

Oh good, I was worried people weren't wasting enough of the justice system's time.

Yeah, the Blumhouse model is really fascinating to me, and something I wish Hollywood would learn from. You have movies like Get Out, Split, and The Purge making huge profits on very small budgets. They get great advertising and get people talking. I really wanted more of this version of Ghostbusters, and I don't know

Not to give this guy any ideas, but isn't every ladies' night at a bar where ladies drink for free also discrimination under this logic? I'm amazed there's never been a "why can't MEN drink for free?!" backlash.

He's not wrong. I was shocked a year ago that this movie cost $140 million, and I'm still shocked now. If they'd spent a sensible $80-$100 million maybe I'd be enjoying more Holtzman in my life next summer.

I know he has an image and career to maintain and it's the right thing to say, but they're supposedly pretty good friends. Just a weak move, in my opinion.

It kinda makes Anderson Cooper seem like a dickbag.

That's definitely a worst-case scenario that I hope to god doesn't happen. But what is it with Trump and female comedians? We saw how crazy Rosie made him years ago, but now that he's President he actually has the power to do something about it.

As a big fan of Kathy Griffin, I definitely don't think she has to worry about losing her career over this. It'll blow over and everyone will move on, because Trump does so many stupid things it's impossible to keep up. Since this "scandal" broke we've already had covfefe and the Paris debacle, so this press

I hate Jaws 2, but I see a lot of people praise it for being halfway decent. I'd honestly rather watch Jaws The Revenge over Jaws 2.

I forgot about Transparent (which I don't really like), but the others have token gay characters at best.

Master of None has almost no queer representation whatsoever (unless 1 episode counts), nor do 99% of Netflix originals.

I can't think of another scripted show besides Sense8 that features so many LGBTQ people. That's why this hurts so much. Gone are the days of Queer As Folk and The L Word, and now we're left as tokens on other people's shows.

I've never seen a positive critical review of House of Cards or met an actual person who watches it. Nevertheless, it persisted.

I haven't been this upset about a cancellation since Hannibal, but at least that show got to end conclusively. Netflix is pulling a FOX circa 2003 move with this bullshit. How does it benefit their business model to have an original series that ends on a giant cliffhanger?

Cancel whatever you want as long as it's not Sense8. LEAVE THAT SHOW ALONE, HASTINGS!

I definitely don't understand O'Neal's cynicism here, or what makes him think David Lynch gives two shits about gifs, Twitter, or YouTube. I don't see him trying to manufacture a viral "moment" just to get the kids talking.

I pronounce it so it rhymes with the title of the hit 1992 movie Bebe's Kids. Covfefe's Kids!
