Is this a B+ in the same way I Am The Pretty Thing was a B+? Because that movie was slow, awful, and pointless. At least this one has Kiernan Shipka, I suppose.

Excuse me, but I didn't see BvS or Suicide Squad and I won't see this either. Some of us hate things AND save money.
Don't forget Shane Black, who everyone around here loves but who allegedly beat his girlfriend. People definitely have some selective memory.
I fully agree. I like to believe that people can grow and change and become non-shitty people. But as we see from both the internet and the American prison system, people are often condemned for their actions for all eternity. Human beings are full of nuances in a world that thrives on black and white.
I just listened to the two Madonna episodes of the "You Must Remember This" podcast, and honestly I had no clue Sean Penn was SO abusive and crazy back then. It made me feel very weird about enjoying a lot of his more recent work.
I remember when The Daily Show didn't have to resort to viral stunts to be relevant. Ah, the halcyon days of 2015.
I could have sworn Alex McCown Levy used to be a person, now he's just Alex McLevy? How does that work?
I don't normally comment on these reviews, but how this episode didn't get an A is baffling. This was, by far, one of the best episodes Bates Motel has ever done, and definitely the best this season. I was sitting on my couch in wondrous awe after it ended.
Not cool for every site on the internet to unleash Persona 5 reviews and remind me that I can't play it for another week. Not cool at all. Though it does give me time to finish Horizon, I guess.
The very thought of a Lost Highway Criterion release is too much for me to handle.
I know a lot of people don't think it can recapture the magic and blah blah, but I really don't care. We get 16 new hours of David Lynch material. The fact that it's Twin Peaks is just a mild bonus for me.
Funny, I had the same reaction to Lynch when I was a teenager. Thought his films were willfully obtuse and pretentious nonsense. Then I saw Mulholland Drive, and I walked out a Lynchian acolyte.
Lynch is a one-of-a-kind master filmmaker, so can we please get blu-ray releases of Lost Highway and Wild At Heart? Hell, Lost Highway was even impossible to find on DVD for many years. His films deserve better.
It seems YA books especially are never single volumes anymore. Everything is part of an ongoing series.
Good news: you can already watch The Walking Dead without commercials on Netflix. And since every season of the show is the same exact damn thing, just watch an old season while staring longingly at a picture of Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

There's…just no way this is going to be hugely successful, right? Sure, it has Batman in it, but we don't yet know if general audiences have any excitement to see Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg (who?), or Aquaman (lol). I understand a Batman and Superman movie making $900 million despite being terrible, but a Batman…
Idris Elba, the one black guy white people feel safe recommending for roles and white women feel safe lusting after.
It's scary to think Robert Rodriguez is past his prime and still hasn't made a very good movie.
They made it pretty obvious Huck was projecting his hopes for himself on to Rowan. He wants to believe that love has changed him and he can have a normal, stable relationship with a woman. Rowan's situation just happened to be somewhat similar.
