I believe that's called pulling a Russell Crowe.

Fun fact: a couple weeks ago my coworker went on a passionate 5 minute defense of Gerard Butler and how great he is in absolutely everything, including Phantom of the Opera and that thing with Katherine Heigl. I sat there completely baffled that anyone was passionate about Gerard Butler in the year 2017.

Oh, I definitely avoid 3D. Even regular 2D projection can be too dim if they don't change the bulbs often enough. My theater is pretty nice, but it's still a crapshoot as to what the experience will be like.

Oh good, we worked Trump into this talk about dictionaries, for some reason.

The theatergoing experience is definitely overrated by some movie fans, especially in these days of huge TV screens and home surround sound. My experience watching a movie at home is usually much better than the theater.

When I went to see Doctor Strange the image was so dark I could barely see what was going on, so I'd say they haven't even got the projection thing down yet.

Ah, it's nice to see internet trolls get what's coming to them. Now when do we start arresting annoying AV Club commenters?

Who cares? Diversity is wonderful, but it's not a requirement for every television creator.

I hate these Amazon pilot seasons and never pay any attention to them. At worst, you watch a pilot that goes nowhere. At best, you watch a great pilot then wait 9 months for episode two. That said, I have to watch this because I love ASP and want her to have a new show, dammit.

I feel bad that she was one of the worst parts of an already lackluster Star Wars prequel. The digital CGI faces in Rogue One were an embarrassment.

She's busy harassing me for trying to promote intelligent discussion.

"We have Trump's tax returns" is a flat-out lie, and though she obviously didn't tweet it herself, she has to deal with the fallout from that. This thing was a clusterfuck from the first hype tweet to the big reveal.

We're not complaining that it was non-sensational news story. We're complaining that it was a non-sensational news story that was ridiculously sensationalized.

I think what really makes him happy is when people like Maddow hype up non-news that distracts from the incredibly awful things he's actually doing.

I wasn't aware that "the left" was a negative term on par with "SJW" now, but noted. I can refer to myself and others like me as Clinton-voting Democrats.

Of course, his other tax forms could be (and probably are) abhorrent. That's why you don't hype this one to Al Capone's vault levels. Now when someone says "I have ANOTHER tax return" people are going to shrug and not give a shit.

Comments like this that refuse to engage in nuanced, complicated discourse also aren't helping. But sure, I'll keep trying.

This represents one of the big problems with the left (of which I'm a member): they want to demonize every little thing about Trump, and it creates a wall of noise that makes it easy to ignore the things he should actually be demonized for. When we're whining over a guy paying a reasonable amount of taxes or a woman

I think you perfectly summarized why season 6 is my favorite season. Plus when it originally aired I was in the same state Buffy was in. My mom had just died, I was cut off from my friends, I was trying to be an adult and failing in all sorts of ways. This show, and this season in particular, saved my life in a lot of

This article covered a trifecta of great reality shows I was once addicted to with Kitchen Nightmares, Hoarders, and Intervention (none of which I'd say are "critically reviled", but whatever.) I have to add Catfish to the list. Every episode is exactly the same, but it's just so satisfying.
