Animal Kingdom is really enjoyable, but other than that I'm with you. Cary Fukunaga would have been great, though. I wish he'd stop dropping out of things I want to see.

I read this book in junior high or high school and loved it, but wasn't it the only good thing Caleb Carr ever did? I know he wrote a sequel that everyone said was awful, and I haven't heard from him since.

Forgot about Preacher. I thought it was awful.

I certainly never tire of every AV Club article referencing the fact that we're heading toward impending doom. Is this the editorial plan for the next 4 years?

The CGI characters in Rogue One are the worst I've seen since that monkey in the Lost In Space movie.

If they make CG Leia a major character, I won't be seeing Episode IX in theaters. I hated it so much in Rogue One that I could barely focus on what a mess the movie was. So take that, Star Wars! You'll only make $1.99 billion without my help!

Counterpoint: I really liked Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls, so I'll be happy to purchase this game.

Ah, I can't wait for Ni No Kuni II. The first really took me by surprise. I'm not a born and bred JRPG fan, but I absolutely loved it.

Is AMC really worthy of ranking now that Mad Men and Breaking Bad are over? For every Better Call Saul there's a Feed the Beast or Walking Dead.

There could be nothing on TV this year besides Feud and the new Twin Peaks and I would be perfectly happy. Legion looks fantastic too, though.

Feud, like many Ryan Murphy shows, sounds like something I cococted in my gayest fever dream and I absolutely cannot wait for it. On the other side of things, I don't get the love for Atlanta at all. I deleted my season pass halfway through the "Justin Bieber" episode and never looked back.

Now you've just blown my mind by revealing he's British! That might explain it. Some actors seem to focus so hard on perfecting an American accent that they forget to emote.

I'm very excited for American Gods despite A) The fact that, yeah, I'd rather have Bryan Fuller doing the Star Trek series, B) The book isn't all that great, and C) Based on The 100, Ricky Whittle isn't so good at this whole acting thing and looks consistently constipated. My love for Bryan Fuller is strong enough to

Thanks to both of you for the detailed explanation of what happened! As a concept, the idea of the heroes fighting over pre-crime could be really juicy and interesting, but I guess it's all about the execution. I normally like Bendis, but I usually find big crossover events in my movies, TV shows, and comics to be

It would have been nice if this article talked at all about what Civil War II is about or why it's such a mess. I'm genuinely curious and was waiting for some sort of explanation and savage takedown. Or is this article a meta commentary about hyping something and then not delivering?

I love love love Edgar Wright, but Baby Driver is such a bad title it kind of kills my advance hype. I'm sure a trailer will get me excited, but yeesh change that title while there's still time.

Because both The Visit and Wayward Pines were pretty darn good. He's having a quiet comeback.

As in delete the site from existence? Considering they haven't made a profit in 10 years and can't attract any new users, they're doing a good job at that themselves.

I'm always shocked when people say the Tarkin CGI didn't pull them out of Rogue One. I found it so awful that even between his scenes all I could think about was what a terrible decision it was on every level. The Leia shot at the end was somehow even worse, so I'm terrified they'll think it's a good idea for Episode

I've been in a big Argento/De Palma/King mood myself the past 6 months or so. I guess something about 2016 made it all seem very appealing.
