We bought our '08 used this year with only 5k on the odometer for way way less than original sticker and current blue book. Keep your eyes peeled for a low-milage used one if you really want one!

You has a passion I cannot graps. Aside from the oldest of the CJs posted, I don't like the painted fenders. Never said they weren't "real," just said they don't look tough. And I stand by that. Especially in the case of the tan/white hardtop.

Haha. Thats some enthusiasm. I don't think the current style of fender looks good painted at all. The Vintage CJs, I'll give you that. Still think the laredo, sahara, and the white/tan combo do not look as tough as the teal hardtop in the last photo.

I have an idea. Just stop painting the fenders. These are Wranglers. Not Grand Cherokees. At least they didn't paint the hardtop white too. Ugh. Way to wuss up a tough car.

I like how Angie ended up in this anyway, and totally unrelated to Jen v. Brad v. Angelina. hah.

I suppose I am an annoying customer because I do ask for things to be explained to me. I know enough about cars to know when something sounds weird, and if I can't get that feeling flushed out by the service person, I do call my dad for advice (former mechanic and engine affectionado).

Beat me too it! Something tells me Gomez watches too much AD.

That makes some sense out of the expression!

Exactly. I look at teh Challenger and then at my Dad's 1970 and aside from the modern creature comforts, they would be from the same line.

That Cougar isn't too bad. My sister has a 2001 V6 with a stick and its pretty fun to drive (in comparison to my Civic, that is).

Seconded. I cannot stand the new Camaro and would hate the see the Mustang head down that road.

Camaro, futuristic design? The interior is like a 1980s POS. So so futuristic and innovative...

Mustang? Yardstick? Pls. Explains?

Hee hee.

He's her dad in the pic after he drove her to her wedding in her car. She married a 26 year old.

The original article says she finshed it just it time for her wedding, which makes me think she was building it already and set a new goal to have the car done after she set a wedding date.

"Besides, there is nothing like driving something you built with your own two hands."

Nah. Girls can have toy cars and still be feminine. They just usually end up with car guys and the couple ends up with four cars between them....

I want to be her best friend.
