But what if I don’t want to live in a desert full of racists?

When you fill up the tank and add stabilizer you should try to use ethanol free gas if it is available in your region, since the entire purpose of fuel stabilizer is to prevent phase seperate of ethanol. Thats also why we fill up the tank all the way, because air can speed up this process. Technically if you use

Ya I dont think there are any modern cars that require 89, although a few recommend it. Alot of cars recommend 91 but dont require it, so I could see some people in that situation using 89 to save a buck here and there. Last I checked 89 only accounted for less than 7% of all fuel sold.

The problem I have with mid-grade is the ratio in which its created. Most gas stations don’t have a seperate storage tank for 89 octane, so it’s created by drawing 87 and 91 from both tanks and mixing them in the pump as you know. You’d think that since 89 is halfway between 87 and 91, and its priced as such, it would

Oops I guess that was Tavarish. I dont know why I thought Doug wrote it. Maybe because it sounded like it was written by a criminally insane person.

Doug has hit the holiday eggnog early I see...

Wait why was he hiding? Why not keep driving? Or at least bury the money or attempt to hide it. I don’t understand.

Not sure if srs...

Ya for sure. They just see regular and premium and assume premium is better because well that’s what it says and more expensive=better. Those words should just be banned.

I hope you at least put the airbags back in

Thats a good point. What frustrates me is when they try to explain to me why they don’t use regular. Most recently I had a single mom working a minimum wage job tell me she only filled her ‘06 impala, which is not a fuel efficient car, with premium. You have kids and a tight budget! Why are you doing this??

I can not even express how much it frustrates me when I hear someone saying they use premium in a car that requires 87.

He said he was spinning wheels in 2nd but he’s also driving on grass....Sooo less impressive

Thanks for clarifying guys. I have not been fortunate enough to have much experience with modified turbocharged engines :(

I’d take this over a Gallardo any day.

I’m confused as how there is such a significant increase in power between octanes. A few hp I get but more than 100? Thats like adding a honda civic engine just by using a slightly different type of gas. Not to mention lower octanes actually have higher potential energy than higher ones, and typically an engine will

Is your supercar too reliable? Are repairs to cheap and simple? Well then we have a deal for you!

If it weren’t for this story he probably couldve brought it back. Lots of others have done the same thing and were accepted. Although those owners probably didn’t admit they had stripped it. By posting this story it just gave vw some time to try and fight it.

I think you mean ‘shat-ing’

Someone explain to me why my civic si costs more to insure than a mustang.
