I have no problem stereotyping straight white men, BUT in my experience from years past, there is nothing "white" about this phenomenon. Unfortunately, it seems that sexual non sequiturs (non sexuiturs?) come in all colors.

If this is indeed a hoax, all I want to know is whether the family is rabidly anti-Obamacare. That would be rich. "Grarrr! In this family, we pay our medical bills the old fashioned way — by the kindness of good people (who we deceived after our three pit bulls mauled someone)."
I also suspect the complaint came from a customer instead of an employee. Maybe a kid couldn't stop staring at her, or maybe a rude adult said something like, "That girl shouldn't be out in public. It's scary." Maybe the grandma felt like they weren't welcome at KFC because the employees didn't intervene on their…
Wow, but there's no such thing as a note written in Cantonese :)
Also, because I'm a human with empathy, no, I do not think that hospitals should refuse treatment to people who eat food they are deathly allergic to. You think we should let them die? WTF?
That's a poor analogy. Here's a better one: eating raw meat can be life-threatening. Say I tried to cook my meat to a safe temperature, but my meat thermometer broke and I ended up eating contaminated food. Should the hospital be able to deny me life-saving treatment because I didn't effectively prevent infection,…
But are they?
So is your problem with the cruelty, or the bare fact that people eat dog meat? Either way, it's pretty hypocritical for 99% of Americans to be upset about this. Why are dogs off-limits for eating when cows and pigs are totally fine? Would you eat horse meat? Donkey? So many questions!
Exactly! Vee is a sociopathic monster who deserves to suffer for a hundred serious crimes, but instead she gets taken down by a thrill-seeker for the crime of being "rude." Ha!
It's tobacco / smoke that's proven to be carcinogenic. As far as I'm aware, there's no known link between nicotine and health problems. As a former smoker, I totally get the appeal of vaping. It delivers the nicotine without most of the bad parts. A good friend of mine used e-cigs to quit smoking after being a…
Sarah Silverman on 48-hour waiting period laws: "I think it's a good law. The other day, I wanted an abortion. I thought I really, really wanted an abortion. But it turned out I was just thirsty."
It's not a perfect site, but I like it as a quick reference point when I'm in the deodorant aisle at the supermarket or whatever. They use a 10-point scale, where 1-2 is completely non-toxic, and it goes up from there. Even if they overreact and consider some harmless ingredients to be harmful, at least I know, as a…
Aww, that is really sweet. Thank you. I wasn't saying that cosmetics definitely cause 100% of all cellulite, which is how my post seems to have been interpreted. We just need more research into the interactions between common toxins, hormones, and fat storage. The fact that we store environmental toxins in our fat is…
I actually tried to provide a ton of links above, but no one has responded to the post with actual evidence. Believe it or not, I do have a job and other things to do. :) I thought I would leave the reporting to the reporters.
Yeah, I really don't understand it. I think you're right about the desperation to separate themselves from old school hippy feminism. It's ironic because this wide embrace of anything modern and mainstream is actually not very scientific. Just look at the comments defending absurdly high c-section rates or rejecting…
I don't think that cellulite is completely preventable, though. Some women would get it no matter what. But I think it's worth considering whether all cellulite is genetic, or whether some women's cellulite can be attributed to other causes, like skin products.
LOOK HERE, EVERYONE:
Cellulite isn't just any fat, though. Some fat women have lots of cellulite; others have almost none. Cellulite is a very specific type of fat/tissue that is linked to hormone disruption.
I'm not seeing any cellulite in that picture?
Not all soaps and cosmetics are created equal. I was writing a quick comment off the cuff. I understand that some chemical exposure is necessary, and that not all "chemicals" are bad. However, there's no denying that many chemicals commonly used in cosmetics are linked to hormone disruption — a leading cause of…
