Well then I guess that explains it. I still wish there were more waistbanded options, though, for those of us who look like tents in flowy items.

If they are actually from Asia or visit often, they might buy their clothes from Asian stores. I spent some time in China and was definitely an L or XL there! I also had an impossible time finding size 9 shoes, but my size 5 friends were thrilled with the millions of stylish options.

I totally agree. I think the drapey look has become popular in order to fit larger frames, but it does not work on hourglasses. Without a defined, fitted waistband, I end up looking huge. Come to think of it, I'm not sure a waistband would look bad on any body shape.

I was just wondering about this. I'm 5'8" and frequently find myself buying smalls these days. My body has been the same size for 10 years, but I used to be a medium, sometimes large. These days, I find myself trying on extra-smalls. I am not an extra small person! Where do actual tiny people shop? (Hopefully not the

Yup. My husband always asks me why I don't shop for clothes online. He doesn't understand that I need to try on at least 2 different sizes for each item!

Ugh. They should shoot for more uniformity in sizing across brands instead! I range from a size 4 to 10 depending on the store, so I have an easier time picking from a rack of S/M/L when I'm choosing clothes to try on. But when I actually get into the dressing room, I hate it, because I'm usually stuck between a small

Yes. He looks like Voldemort.

I still deem him too unsexy. But not too unsexy for TV, because there should be a wider range of faces represented on television: hot and cumberbatchy alike. :)

I think y'all are forgetting that this push for breastfeeding is a very recent phenomenon, and it was created in response to aggressive campaigns by formula companies and hospitals to promote bottle feeding and cast breastfeeding as icky. Stressed out moms used to be bombarded with free formula at the hospital at a

Could you give me an example of potential legislation drafted "based on a lack of faith"? I can't even imagine what that would entail, let alone how it would pass a vote.Every atheist I know yearns for politics and religion to be separate. You know, that pesky old separation of church and state.

Believing in god is literally irrational. I didn't know that was a controversial statement.

I'm with the 5%, too. Smart, educated people are less likely to be religious. Plus, believing in god is irrational, and I would prefer a president who is a rational thinker. I know that some very smart, otherwise-rational people are religious, and I wouldn't discount a religious candidate on that basis alone, but all

I'm pretty sure we already have an atheist president, though. :)

So summery!

I stopped watching when the producers apparently decided that America couldn't handle watching a show featuring a working mom and stay-at-home dad. :(

I love Kristen Wiig! You asshole!! :)

Ha, yeah, being called an asshole for not liking something is definitely a new one!

I guess I just get cranky when certain people are lavished with praise for doing nothing spectacular. The worst offenders are God and Jennifer Lawrence.

She makes her living as a performer. Surely she is not immune to criticism. At the very least, no performer would expect to appeal to everyone. I'm not sure how I'm an asshole for thinking that a comedienne isn't funny. It's just one woman's opinion.

I have never found Maya Rudolph to be funny. Not even once. She single-handedly brought down Up All Night. When she hosted SNL a while back, every one of her lines left me feeling awkwardly silent. I didn't watch SNL when she was a cast member, but I've seen many re-runs, and her lines always fall flat.
