Picking apart a prototype is fair game IMO. While it doesn’t have to be running and driving, when a company is showing off a prototype it should be in a high quality condition. Doesn’t have to be 100% perfect, but man this thing looks beat to hell, clear coat (I assume) flaking off huge panel gaps everywhere, even

Given Tesla’s bad reputation for build quality issues and the general doubt around whether or not this truck will go into production, why on earth would they show it like this? This was their chance to help turn the conversation, and instead they doubled down by showing something that looks as well-assembled as a

Nope. This is a display-ready prototype, not a mule. If you’re showing a prototype of a seriously expensive bit of kit to the public, presumably it’s hand-made. It should be perfect. Imperfections on test-bed cars? Sure.

Sounds like someone ordered one and is now facing the inconvenient truths of their purchase.

If anything, that would make me MORE worried since it’s built by hand by people who KNOW that it’ll be a demo/shown to the public, and they still didn’t give enough of a shit to make the panels line up.

Uh.... Is it also unfair to pick apart a almost 10 year old car Model S cars from Tesla now for its shoddy build quality?

Lol, no it isn’t “unfair”. Tesla showed this at a semi-public event and let people record it. How is that unfair?

I’m curious as to what study this advice is based? The first citation talks about allowing free play for children and if there is not enough risk they may lose interest and while the 2nd study is behind a paywall the abstract seems to be similar to the first.

Eh, my mom always told me that and it taught me to pay attention to what was going on around me and not do stupid things.

Let’s just say that this article is woke and fucking stupid.

Nothing wrong in telling kids to be careful. How stupid are you?

There is nothing wrong in saying be careful how stupid are you

I usually say, “be safe”. God forbid some psyche bullshit will tell me that will harm my kids. Nothing wrong with caring just depends on the context you are using the phrase. Some kids are smart and know you are just being a caring parent, and probably not the “I’m going to scar you for life” kind of parent.

Doing dumb things and making mistakes are mutually exclusive. Dumb things are done intentionally despite intelligence telling us otherwise.  Mistakes and failure are not intentional. No kid goes out intentionally to fail.  They will intentionally do dumb things however.

I just say, “Don’t be dumb.” We all know what that means and so do they.

This guy is a clown who needs to face some consequences for being a douchebag.

A crappy actor with violent tendencies and multiple assault charges keeps getting handed major roles in blockbusters. Yay.

Its time for this thing to disappear. He isn’t a good actor and is nothing more than a trouble making machine. Time for Hollywoo to move on from Ezra.

At your highest moment, that’s when the devil comes for you.”

And that’s what it’s really all about, isn’t it?
