It would be nice if some of the corrections made by lawyers in the commentary had propagated out into future articles. It sometimes feels as if the facts are just a secondary consideration to outrage generation and sensationalism. Granted, it is not an issue strictly limited to local articles on the matter, but still.

I think the commentators would be less frustrated if the same wrong information wasn’t presented every time an article is published about this matter. I’ve noticed a lot of people who were giving good information about this have given up on commenting. I’m not sure whether it was the personal attacks they endured…

Considering Miss Grundy looks like Jughead in a white wig and Cole Sprouse is playing Jughead, I can only hope that Dylan Sprouse will be cast as Miss Grundy.

While I certainly appreciate the intent of the tribute (especially with one of my all-time favorite songs), Lorde’s performance sounded rough. Like Tallahassee karaoke rough.

This is like being in middle school again with all the ‘kind of cute’ and ‘would you’. Also, it seems kind of weird to have had a number of articles around here lately complaining about people commenting on the appearance of women and then this. I suppose it’s meant to be tongue in cheek, but still.

The top one with the Cher hair? She kind of looks less human and more like one of those ‘real dolls’. I think it’s the vacant Stepford (lack of) expression.

She may have made an unpopular decision but she acted according to the law. Which, if I recall correctly, is what she was elected to do. She shouldn’t be making judgements from the bench based solely on moral outrage. Work to change the law, don’t punish the people who have to work within it.

As has been repeated in the comments on these articles many times, Kesha’s legal battle isn’t over yet, though.

That was my feeling. I usually only see single words quoted as disparaging. But, benefit of the doubt and all that. The developing trend around here towards a mean girls mentality is pretty telling, though. And unfortunate.
