The employees at the local Firehouse subs are insane. Even if they’re busy they will spend at least five minutes trying to talk you into eating anything you ask them to leave off a sandwich. “Just try it, you’ll love it!” It’s every location I’ve been to in town, too. I’m at a loss to explain it.

I wonder what the statistics are like comparing pro athletes’ criminal endeavors (and their punishment - or lack thereof) and other professions. It seems like sports figures are hitting the news rather a lot. Or maybe I just notice them more for some reason (probably my deep loathing of football).

Me, too. She annoys me so much I cannot even quantify it and the about face into loving her is, I admit freely, part of the issue. I seem to recall her doing a bit of fat shaming on Twitter at some point as well and then freaking out when someone said she looked fat.

I saw an aged out fratboy riding one of these in Denny’s last week. The guy refused to just stand on the ground or walk. Going to the bathroom? Climb on! Getting up to let someone out of the booth?
