Rumor has it there were some reshoots going on a couple of days ago. Unless they’re reshooting the whole film, though, I don’t expect much improvement.

I have never understood the appeal of beer, personally. It all tastes like how I imagine the liquid in a truckstop urinal that hasn’t been flushed in a month would. I’ll just stick with my bourbon, if that’s ok with everyone. More beer for you folks!

I think you deserve an award for that, personally.

I’m glad I’m not the only one concerned about that. Yipes.

I’m not a fan of the casting, either. I’m glad the film is being made, but I find myself less likely to see it because of Portman. I also find her to be not a particularly good actress and I think she’s terribly overrated. Yet for some reason she is all but worshipped by some people. Which is sort of amusing

Full confession: I am a guy. I also apologize if I sound creepy because that is so very far from my intention. I just wanted to say that, from where I stand at least, small boobs never went out of fashion.

Oh, yes. It’s so very, very hard to avoid those darned things. I think we have a similar issue in that everything in the onion family is terribly bad, but I can handle some amount of garlic. Ugh. I need to open an onion-free restaurant. :D

Ouch. Having to totally avoid garlic must really be tough, especially when going out to eat.

It can be terrible when you accidentally get a bite! I had to bail on my birthday dinner one year because a server insisted there were no onions in my meal. I couldn’t see them either, but they were definitely there.

That’s the way I am with onions. I’ve lost count of the number of people who have tried to argue with me that there is no such thing as an onion allergy. Eating one, though, is like setting a bomb off in my digestive system.

True, but I was merely commenting on the fact the author said the shirt didn’t appear to be 80s enough. Still, good to know.

As someone who grew up in the 80s, Jubilee’s t-shirt is pretty dead on. It may not be the almost caricature depiction of the 80s most pieces set in that decade seem to favor, but it’s fairly representative of the time.

I remember getting some time on Robotech: Crystal Dreams at one of the Atlanta E3 shows. It was way unfinished, but fun. I wish I still had the promo items they were handing out.

You and I seem to have the same philosophy of life. It’s nice to know I’m not alone!

Yes, this story seems to have a happy ending, but I’ve seen it pointed out elsewhere that the straight friend only cooked this up after he couldn’t get a prom date of his own. Did anyone else read that? I think it’s amazing he and his friend are going to go and have a good time, but I think this might have had a bit

The sensation, mostly. I very much appreciate the tip! I’ll have to grab some of those at the store this weekend and give it a go. Is there a particular brand/flavor you’d recommend?

I hated when Jell-O moved to sucralose. I’m deadly allergic to the stuff and since I can’t do the sugar, it was bye-bye snack time. Thankfully, I have been soda free for a bit, though I can’t take any real credit for giving it up. Once my gall bladder went, any type of pop made me quite ill. I do miss a nice cold one

They already make a Diet Coke with Splenda which I think is sucralose.

I’m actually kind of disappointed that Taylor Swift, who seems to take great care not to be -or at least not to look like- a jerk, would be so glowing about a woman who seems to be just that.

Boy, public opinion on Chrissy Teigen around here has changed in the last few months. I remember when people were calling her gross for bragging about her public airplane sex and her fat shaming Twitter posts.
