As a writer, I see a lack of any clear open workspace where Levy could put anything down larger than a coffee mug. Call me old fashioned, but I like to pull a book off the shelf and keep it handy, not squirrel over and put it away immediately. Also, where's the toy collection? You know we all have them!

Going from a closed file cabinet to an open grate one is really not very smart. All the dust in the room that would be easily caught and dusted off the cabinet surfaces will now get into the files.
Personally, I think all my years of Doom and Quake better prepare me for getting EVERYTHING into the truck!

My best upgrade has been adding a Homedics chair massager. I have a home office. If you work in a cube farm, the buzzing noise and deep sighs of relaxation can be distracting to neighbors.
One thing that works for me for a better message is a simple script. If I have what I want to say in front of me, it avoids that gap where I am deciding what to mumble next.
