I mean, she oversaw the abolishment of the empire and the creation of the Commonwealth, which any country can choose not to be a part of. She is no more at fault for the actions of her annexing and pillaging ancestors than I am for the actions of my English ancestors committing atrocities in Ireland. I’m not

History is written by the winners and all that, but a lot of Kenyans will tell you that she was on the right side of history against the Mau Mau/Kikuyu rebellion.

Gotta love the baseless non-stop hate and racism that is “black twitter.”

I love how jezebel churned the rumor mill for months, then turned around and asked, "why so sexist, rumor mill?"

The Root loves covering the “racism” these rich actors experience and talk about while promoting their shitty remakes, prequels, and other uncreative crap because then they can ignore the real harm racism does to normal people in this country every day. The Root chooses to cover topics like this over corrupt cops and

You don’t get rich being a good person.
And even if you do, you don’t stay a good person. You can’t.
Eventually you will be faced with a choice, the money, or your values. Wealth, or doing what’s right. Screwing someone over to get that bag, or doing the right thing.

Money always wins. That’s why Greed is one of the

The Leo thing is obvious and as old as he is.

No fat person is hurt by this, at all. Also fat people aren’t a minority or oppressed group.

Two things - the question he was asked *by Yee* (the host) was “is this safe for this person.” On the narrow question of genetic risk, it is.

That seems like a fairly innocuous observation to me, if a little too colloquial: what am I missing?

Right now, Oz has a bigger problem. This week on the campaign trail he was asked, if he had been in the Senate during January 6, would he have voted to certify the election results. He said he would.

Yeah, from a purely genetic point of view, Oz is correct. And technically, it can be closer than cousin. Inbreeding starts to cause genetic problems if many generations do it, but the occasional offspring from incest doesn’t create a genetic issue.

Yadda yadda die the hero something something live long enough to be the villain...

Looking to anyone one named “Kardashian” for commentary about the social ills of the world really requires skipping over the very harmful effect their whole schtick has brought about.

While I 100% believe there are a bunch of neckbeards melting down over this (cause, c’mon, look at this country), just wanna also throw in a plug to not trust Amazon too much here, either. They sunk a terrifying amount of money into this and, at least in my humble opinion- ymmv of course- it just ain’t that good. It

Except what has historically been spring & summer is now unbearable hellfire. Losing the shoulder months in the northeast SUCKS. Seriously, it goes from 40s/50s, occasional 60s through May straight to 80s/90s starting in May/June and stays that way until late September. You can’t even be outside for months at a time.

Wealthy people really need to quit with the “I worked my ass off” whining. Sure, we can agree you did. But you were also exceptionally lucky. You know who else “works their ass off”? The lady that cleaned my hotel room today. She’ll do that for several hours, then probably go work at a restaurant tonight, then go home

The rich are always united in oppressing everyone else.   The rich encourage racism because it serves their interests to have everyone divided.

“We don’t think you fight fire with fire best; we think you fight fire with water best. We’re going to fight racism not with racism, but we’re going to fight with solidarity. We say we’re not going to fight capitalism with black capitalism, but we’re going to fight it with socialism. We’ve stood up and said we’re not

There is a difference between average and median. I don’t know what country you live in that has an average household income of $137,000 but it ain’t this one. California has an affordable housing problem. I wouldn’t live in the bay area with a household income of $137,000.  California is nice but it ain’t that nice.
