It changes literally nothing in terms of the nomination. He voted for Kavanaugh once without an investigation while pretending he stood up to his party. There’s still no investigation. He can act like he wants one for a few days before putting on a show of reluctance again next week before voting for his confirmation…

He could’ve voted no, which would have been a 10-11 vote no, which would’ve ended it right there.

This is so fucking hard.  I have family members who not only still approve of Kavanaugh getting the SC seat, but think that Ford is a paid actor.  The willful ignorance runs deep when you’re in a deeply red state.  It’s exhausting.  I cannot even begin to fathom how Ford feels.

It’s ironic that the NCAA peddles this nonsense about “student athletes” being paid in “education and character.” That’s literally the same argument that higher education makes when it justifies paying grad students and adjuncts slave wages and stops them from unionizing.
