I think it’s awesome that she is actually making a donation. It’s more than I’ve done, so I really don’t have a right to judge; but I’m gonna furrow my brow a bit here...

I actually read an article that said that compared to Trump, Nixon was a true statesman.

Shutting down continued discussion on issues that Clinton is flawed on is dangerous. It was important to continue discussion on issues that Obama was and is flawed on (drone bombings, deportation, etc). It was also important to continue discussion on issues that Kennedy was flawed on.

I can’t imagine how rage-inducing it must be for those men to deal with the press. I’m sure how Diana died is never far from their minds, and to see it still happening to people they care about? My open letter would not be nearly so polite.

These are second amendment folk, shouldn’t they all have guns? Why do guns scare them so?

So hippotheraphy is a real thing with benefits, for various disorders. But considering he is an adult and this is not a long term program I am guessing it is the usual covering of one’s ass tactic.

I think the concept of ‘closure’ is pushed by everyone around the grieving person. They want the griever to stop crying, feeling sad — to quit harshing their groove. “I hope you find closure” is like “I hope you’ll stop sniveling soon, it’s making me uncomfortable”

Olds? Seriously?

Counter: 90% of coughing is not due to communicable infection. Chillax.

“How is that working out for you” is the moment when I flew into an apoplectic fit. Such an obnoxious, arrogant thing to say—as if the mere fact that someone is single means they’ve been a failure in all past relationships, and that failure is because that single person just doesn’t know what’s good for them.

Fred Armisen gives me the creeps.

“I’m sick and tired of people like you...”

it’s hard not to view the show, in hindsight, with goggles of extreme ickiness. It feels like we’re watching how Trump’s misogyny and alleged lecherousness played out in practice,

1) “In the Pines” is a very old, very creepy folk song no matter who does it, but Kurt Cobain’s live MTV version is as scary as anything I’ve ever seen on TV. He looks like walking death and he wasn’t long for this world. :(
