It probably has something to do with the eye disease that will eventually leave her blind. Or so I've heard.
"Nailed it."
ok my friend majored in art history and these were literally the same pictures she took during her semester abroad in Italy
Oh, fuck this. I'm guessing he was being bullied at his school and the adults couldn't be bothered to do anything to rein in the little shits, just like it was when I was a kid. The excuses were always, "oh, they need to work it out themselves," or "oh, honey, just ignore them, they're jealous," or other bullshit…
GROSSSSSS. I hate when parents call their son a "Ladies man" and shit like that. He is not a ladies man, he is a fucking baby and stop trying to make people think of your baby romantically you fucking weirdos. Or even worse when people say their baby is "flirting with you." Ummm no he's not, he probably just has to…
Moms who get all creepy possessive over their sons is just fucking weird and strikes me as some reverse Oedipus complex where the Mom isn't getting enough romantic attention from the kid's father/her husband/or other romantic partner so is trying to get it from her kid. This Mom is like metaphorically pissing all over…
Well, but Katherine Heigl has barely worked since Knocked Up and Grey's. Her new NBC show is the first thing she's done in quite some time.
Right. If Katherine Heigl still gets work, why not Mo'Nique?
If Katherine Heigl can get work after biting the hand that feeds (repeatedly) and just being the worst, I don't why Mo'Nique is having opportunities taken away.
Yeah, I'll just get in ahead of all this and note that Precious simply isn't especially a good movie, but Monique is pretty good in it.
She laughs, adding: "Isn't that a strange thing to say in front of 3,000 people?"
Why do you think this little anecdote by Branson was meant for Jane Fonda? He said it to her but not for her. This was shared in public on a stage and clearly directed at his audience - Branson being his usual dickish self. The eternal rebel without a cause, the former hippie who defies conventional wisdom or so he…
I am 99.9% sure Jane Fonda did not direct On Golden Pond.
I agree, and I love this movie, but she didn't direct it (if you meant that literally). The guy who directed it also directed The Rose....
yeah. it didn't really become the shit show it is now until somewhat recently. I imagine it must have been more interesting back in the day when the actors were just choosing for themselves. Imagine some of the weird shit they would have had on!
I love it, it's such an emotional film. And Katharine Hepburn, my god, she's jus luminous there. A brilliant piece of acting.
I'm just here to say that if you haven't seen "On Golden Pond" you must.
Haha, I judge everyone. Harshly. Especially myself.
I am 100% with you about Rick's whole speech. It was just so...beneath this show. The whole thing was poorly written, and I was literally sitting there going "Wait, what? What is he talking about?"...and that was before we even got to the heinous "walking dead" part.
