It turned out excellent. 

At my uncle’s old restaurant you got a free meal (not entrees, most got burgers and sandwiches) for every shift you were scheduled for. You could either show up early and get it before your shift, or get it after.

I do them slightly different. Stuffed with meat and cheese with a marinara sauce.

This is less Watergate and more window shopping the DCCC’s 2020 plans. 

The auto manufacturers have been through this before. They think in terms of decades, not four year terms. They know Trump will be out of office in less than 5 years and the next president will go back to the tougher standards. 

Even when I’m in a relationship, I prefer going to restaurants by myself.

I just watched the first episode and I quite enjoyed it. I’ll definitely try to binge it once it’s fully released.

I would have gone in and talked to the manager.  They should be able to look up and see that you did make (what you believed was) a valid reservation.  Any restaurant worth patronizing would at least offer you a round of drinks and a free appetizer.
