Perhaps the plan is to have all trans or intersex students use chamber pots. I guess this will result in creation of more jobs (chamber pot makers and sellers, and high school janitors), so win-win!

On the other hand, I have heard of Bacon.
The Lone Gunmen, I had forgotten about them! The spin off series was actually decent, though I think it only lasted on season. Very unappreciated.
Mr Bean Goes To Court
Being allergic to virtually every antibiotic on the planet it is unlikely that I will suffer in this manner. I will, however, at some point, possibly die from a treatable infection.
I was using the term in reference to this specific conversation about diversity in film. It is absolutely OK to have a conversation about the lack of or representation of or portrayal of latinos in US cinema.
Turns out that ejd guy is trolling us. He started out by arguing that it is OK for there to be all white nominees because of the demographics of the US. We called him on the lack of logic of his argument (not to mention his poor math skills) so then he says the US demographics don’t matter. Time to be done with him.…
Ok I’m done with you now. YOU were the one who started the entire argument saying it is OK to have all white nominees because a majority of the US is white. Now you are saying forget the US demographics. WHY DO I ALWAYS FALL FOR THE TROLLING :(
My comment regarding a forumula based on demographic % was a direct reply to the commentator that was making that case. He was suggesting that it is OK to have 5 out of 5 nominees in each category be white because of the % of white people in the country. I was just helping him with the math that he seemed incapable…
“foreigner” =/= racial diversity
That’s white + latino. If you want to count latinos as white FOR THIS PURPOSE (a discussion of diversity in film) then, well that’s weird but OK. I guess your argument would thus conclude that about 1 to 2 of the 5 nominated of per category should be people of color (and perhaps assume that there would be some latinos…
More like 60% (and shrinking) so if you want to go by a straight formula based on demographics, which I guess is what you are arguing for (?) then approx 2 out of 5 of each category should be people of color. Not the approx 0 out of 5 that we are seeing now.
I know this is a much, much less important example but it makes me think back to my first management role in my career, in my mid 20’s at a pretty liberal nonprofit organization. I managed a staff of about 20+ people, several were Senior Staff who reported directly to me, most of whom I inherited (didn’t hire myself).…
And even then, only as part of a WELL REGULATED militia.
Excellent point. Also just look at how people like these guys reacted to the unarmed Occupy Wall Street movement.
Ah good point. It fits the timing. I forget sometimes that they weren’t always around.
This is a really good observation. I’m not sure if facebook is causing it exactly or not but there does seem to be a correlation.
Hate the man. Love the socks.
I feel like I have this exact same problem when I shop for clothing.
