I've had the same problem with a friend/neighbor I've been drafting into watching the show with me.  She had watched an early season of Survivor, so I was trying to explain all the additions plus all the strategies that have developed over the years to deal with them.  "So here's a history/gameplay/strategy lesson…

I think this season's theme is going to be about all these gangs dividing into warring tribes (based on gang/ethnic/historical affiliations), and the FBI exploiting these divisions.

It definitely wasn't Lydia (she's not calling the cops on her employees), and I doubt Jesse cared.  Either it was the excessive gunfire or Walt called them beforehand in case his plan didn't work out.

There was only one packet there: Lydia asked the waiter to get her more Stevia after she picked it up.

Well, Republic City is pretty much Coruscant…

@avclub-858b67085072a6f2403cf500871f4068:disqus The loved ones mechanic makes RI closer to what I think the producers hoped it would be.  The problem before was that a person who had been out for that long just came back as an easy choice for elimination, and was never exploited as a potential extra vote to shift

Due to my Pick 4 having 3 noobs, I'm in the conflicted position of hating Colton but hoping he sabotages the returnees enough to turn my odds around.

Until Jeff commented on Marissa giving her old tribe the stinkeye, I assumed she was looking at Gervase.

It's definitely more on topic than any of the "will Dexter have a normal life" shit they focused on for the last 4 years.

For a second there, I thought they might be having a last shot at the incest subplot.  THAT would have been symbolism.

Being in public with Colton means the guy must have mad diplomacy skills or be an awesome fighter.

@JudgeReinhold:disqus Thanks!  Many non-functioning likes to you!

Just saw that on the other thread…

"But they don't understand me!  They don't understand that I'm a hateful asshole who just wants to be loved!"

Just saw on the other thread that it is taken.

Hey there, long time listener first time caller… is it too late to get in on this now?

Another question:  How do you apply to get cast on Survivor (and have a loved one who has played the game before) but don't learn how to make a fire?

@JudgeReinhold:disqus I think he picked her as one of those "women/John Cochranes" that was a threatening to beat the real men (and the gay guy).

Harry used to be a literal manifestation of "Harry's Code" - he would question Dexter's choice of victims and whether he was risking exposure.

You NEED the shot of him getting flung across the room… it's the denouement that makes the moment sing.
