It's daytime soap, so the bar is pretty low… and Malcolm's experience shone through in tending to that bar.

People (and usually winning people) have been pairing up at the start for a while now, so this scenario is just formalizing it. It could be interesting just because those pair alliances will be obvious this time around.
Brandon:
"I acted crazy enough to have people fear for their safety and vote me out! I took control of my destiny so well that they even voted me out of the reunion!!! I am the author of my fate!!!!!"
Definitely yes on 3. He might have lost Dawn's vote, and probably would lose others by betraying a long term alliance that everyone knew about. Nobody on the jury would care if he booted Eddie (including Eddie).
If nothing else, it would mean we'd get some different designs for the show's props. I think we've had enough of tikis by now.
Recommended answer for all Dawn's jury questions:
I thought it was strange that Dawn didn't paper over it a bit by mentioning how she lost the teeth. Is the story more embarrassing?
@avclub-327af0f71f7acdfd882774225f04775f:disqus The segway to Andrea was really fucking strange and condescending too.
Brenda was wallowing in Dawn's betrayal in front of the jury, which served its purpose no matter what Dawn did. Her only move was to get her teeth out just to end it.
Those LARPers are looking forward to working the premiere of Nymphomaniac.

"No, no, don't wave you… oh ffs they're waving… assholes."
The problem is that she's flipping a switch going from nice Dawn to executioner Dawn and thinking she can keep the two separate. I think that disconnect is what's been fueling her crying fits, but she's convinced it's the only way to win. And because she's trying so hard, her overall behavior ends up being much…
I definitely remember Penner doing spear fishing in Philippines.
I bet if Phillip was still there he'd have some something to talk about… maybe he'd be repeating himself, but he'd be talking.
And that this article is based on a misreading of their article:
I'm pretty sure she named her victims and how they will die in this episode.
They just failed to make it clear that he was a technological villain. He was using an invasive technology (nanobots that give you superpowers) as opposed to Stark's external tech (a suit that gives you superpowers). They never explained it properly in the film, but that was supposed to be the comparison/contrast…
Pearce's nerd getup instantly reminded me of Kilmer's in The Saint. You have to wonder whether Black had tried to cast Kilmer in this for the full KKBB reunion.
One fairly clear flaw in the film was that none of the science fiction elements were given much explanation. Extremis might as well have been magic… they definitely didn't mention anything about it being nanotech. I'm fine with the SF being subservient to the characters' story, but they could have thrown a few extra…
I was kind of hoping for some mention of AIM's Nazi connections… and their connection to the Cosmic Cube… and they didn't really make Extremis's connection to the super soldier serum clear. Maybe they'll tie it together in Cap 2, but it seems like they're ignoring the shared universe a bit.
