“[hung out] with Jacob (again).” I think that actually reads hu w/ Jacob again. Hook up.

Ha. I was just thinking Jenny better not come back from the dead. I hated her guts.

You can’t get that shit fairtrade. Buying cocaine is supporting a gruesome industry that is pretty well known for murder and torture. Partayy.

The beauty industry? This is clearly a lie perpetuated by Big Sushi.

Humans are equally awful. Europeans do some pretty fucked up shit to animals too.

“Honor the integrity of StoryCorps’ mission and core principles, internally and externally.”

Alcohol is a disinfectant.

Is it just me or does anyone else find it immensely comforting to read news concerning the Royal Family since Trump was elected? (And Brexit, and Theresa May). It’s kind of nice to see some things (even a symbolic monarchy) remaining constant, and not going up in flames.

I guess you can’t make a movie about anorexia that isn’t triggering. The feel-good vibes I’m getting from the trailer, and the anorexic tropes (spine! fainting! title with the word bone in it!) aren’t helping any.

It’s just common sense. Oils are fats and should be consumed in moderation. Of course we should be skeptical of any trendy diet-related fad. It’s not science that’s to blame, but companies trying to sell products, and the media jumping into the frenzy.

“Women, in general, get a lot of pushback, especially if you’re successful and attractive.”

Oh I guess so. I always just assumed currants was another word for raisins!

I loved this book as a kid too. I read it just after my family had moved cross-country and I was already fantasizing about running away back home. Living in a museum seemed like a good idea then. I’m kind of surprised I didn’t!

Not too fond of the raisins baked in things either. Or the inevitable bowl of warm custard that comes with it. I’ve only ever had spotted dick from a hospital cafeteria, but I’m assuming done right it must be good.

You mean the tasty traditional pudding, right?

I mean, the UK has a constitutional monarchy that exists for tradition’s sake and does not actually do much functionally. Despite their current conservative PM I’d still take British parliament over our stupidly slow system.

The difference is that Warhol and Lichtenstein’s source material was easily recognizable on purpose. They would not transform work by another artist unless it was clearly not their own. In addition, a wealthy white man profiting off the work of a woman without explicitly giving credit is all kinds of fucked up, even

This was and still is probably one of my favorite movies (The DVD I traded for some time in the early 00's sits on my shelf - I don’t own a DVD player).

I vote for this goth!

Ha. Well, here’s what I understand: that there are some who agree with you, and there are some who don’t. When you look at, historically, raises in the minimum wage increase versus inflation, it sometimes happens concurrently, and sometimes it doesn’t. In addition, there’s really no way to isolate minimum wage as the
