LOL, that's pretty generous. My daughter (came of age in the 2000's) did have a curfew (appropriate, but generous), I let her dye her hair (hell, I was her personal hairdresser), and I let her get a nose piercing she'd been wanting for a long time, which I promised she could do if she could manage to get straight A's

And some people claim we don't live in a rape culture. As a mother of a young woman, I find this extremely frightening.

Wow, thanks for the list!

The woman who recommended the copper IUD to me back in 2002 had hers for quite some time and had no children. I have had one child and have been using an IUD since then (I am on #2). Out of all the methods of BC I have used in the past, this is the best and easiest by far.

Wow, thanks for sharing. I love the awesomeness that is KITH!!!

LMAO!

Ryan, how could you betray our one, true love? I am heartbroken. ;-)

Okay, so she throws shade at Paltrow, but not Blake Lively, who is the latest perky blonde to attempt becoming the next Martha Stewart? Hmmm.

LOL!

Not the teeth, not the teeth!

This made me crack up the first time I saw it—this is probably practice for his after-hours activities.

They're damn freaky looking! My daughter attended Evergreen State College (Olympia, WA) and the geoduck is their mascot.

Why do so-called "respectable" or "nice-guy" type men rape women? I have no clue, but it happens ALL THE TIME. Wouldn't those victims' stories seem "off" as well? Maybe he was drinking; maybe he is simply a douchebag. That said, I don't think the story sounds "off."

Uh, t.v.? Yeah, good luck with that.

Wow, that sounds wonderful!!!

Providing children with alcohol and drugs (and that includes pot, although I don't have a problem with adults using it) is not appropriate, and, in this article, that is what the definition of "cool" is...I grew up in the 80's and I will say that was my definition of cool parents, too.

Knowing and proving they knew are two entirely different matters. Conjecture does not hold up in trial.

That phrase is an oxymoron. You're doing your job if you're NOT considered a cool parent.

When my daughter was a baby, she went from wearing newborn (as a newborn) to wearing 12 months (at 4 months—she was a big baby). Not only would I never pay this kind of money for cheaply-made clothes such as these, but it's depressing that the age bracket keeps getting lower and lower where parents feel the need to

If I spend my money on burgers and fries, I don't care how god-damned hoity-toity they are, I want ketchup. Pretentious asshole.
