Raping your brother's wife, going against your gods… doesn't sound viking to me. Where the other Iron Islanders fought for love, family, religious beliefs, etc… he fights for wealth and himself (going so far as to believe he is some form of a god)

No, Jaime still has a vow to return her home safely. He will kill Cersei when Arya gets caught by the Mountain/someone.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. This Euron bores me silly. Too much of a stereotype and not enough of an original. The book Euron is CRAZY, and yet sly like a fox. This one is just that, a punk.
In the book Euron is the WORST of the Greyjoys. There are actually several "alright" ones including one that makes Stannis' devotion to family loyalty and propriety look like a breeze next to a storm.
He was anything but stereotypical. He was against most of the traditions of the Iron isles, he didn't believe in the drowned god, he worshiped the Storm god. He wore a suit of Valyrian armor. He raped his brother's wife/love (Victarion who doesn't exist here) which is why he was exiled (not for starting the war, which…
I've just read a lot of theories that have Arya being a tool of the faceless men (which other theories have as the bane of Old Valyria) and she ends up killing the dragons i.e. being a bad guy. So now I'm expecting bad things from here.
I don't know if placing bottles of wine (empty and full) everywhere counts as redecorating.
LOL right? the old valyrian colonies were so much spicier in the book.
yeah I was waiting for the young one to put a move on her and then they all get slaughtered.
damnit, ocular pat down. I knew I ruined it. I knew it. I ruin everything.
I want to remind you of this when she slaughters them all next episode/feel free to remind me of this if she doesn't.
yeah that had me wondering too.
No. This Euron sucks. He's not my least favorite book change, but he's close.
I wish he was a quarter of the character from the books. Also, I know he will fall in the end, but nicknaming him Enron makes him seem larger.
This Experts council disappoints me. Everyone here seems to love Euron. Am I the only poor sap that can't stand the changes from the book? Armor, religion, family history… this guy is a pale shadow. Every time I see him I wince. So many characters are almost picture perfect (Most of the Starks, Tyrells, Lannisters,…
are we looking for logic from the faceless men? Plus do we ever see two faceless men at the same time with the same face? Perhaps they just use a special knife to cut the face off. I don't know… so many questions so I go with my stock answer "magic"
Hmmm. I somehow figured she is going to murder them all in their sleep. Notice the glances at the swords by the log… could be her just doing a "Visual pat down" ala Mac from ASIP, but a part of me wonders. Honestly I won't be comfortable with that 'moment' until we see her away unharmed and them alive also unharmed.
I just would have preferred to see Thanos do what they would be doing.
still if he is the ultimate power why does he need minions now? Trying to stay hopeful.
Not really enthused that they are adding even MORE characters to this right now. I'm expecting to see 30 seconds of characters I love, plus them flying around in the background during the film. No character development internal to the film… too many villains.. not enough focus. We will see. Trying to keep an open…
