I don’t know how you can watch this show and think capitalism isn’t a problem. It’s literally what the show is about. Capitalism has killed and abandoned people just the same way as any other system.

Logan is vicious and domineering because of how he was raised. The kids are selfish and vapid because of how they were raised. He’s not an idiot. He understand both elements.

I would have liked that, and it might have even been something if he made a fuss about it. But what I like even more is how he didn’t. How chill he’s become. Well certainly. It’s not like his speech was subtle. My point is that he’s not shocked and horrified by what the kids are. I’d say he just groups them among Logan’s sins/monstrous accomplishments.  Logan made mean, vapid children just like he made a mean vapid world. 

Do you believe that the people writing, producing, directing, and acting in this show have even an ounce of respect for any of the people these characters represent? You’re watching a show that actively hates and is mocking the beliefs and actions of any real world counterparts.

Yeah, isn’t that the point of well-written characters? It’s to “trigger” an emotional and cerebral response. We all knew the Roys were hard-right shitbags to begin with. Knowing that and still hoping they could be better is the core of the tragedy here.
