After death is the best time to criticize someone, you can’t hurt their feelings. My stepgrandfather’s stories were boring.  Who are you protecting here, homeboy?  The queen’s not going to fuck you.

Ooof, what a seemingly brutal article, but only because it is straightforward and honest where much of the press coverage will default towards hagiography. 

i’m a 61 year old white Canadian and like most us, i don’t give a shit about the Monarchy. there are die hards of course, but the Monarchy has nothing to do with our lives or the true running of our gov’t. i don’t disagree with the ties we’ve kept, but it’s an historical relationship, not a living one.

I appreciate this article. I really hate when people act like suddenly when someone dies they can no longer be criticized. 

RIP. But it is time this outdated, feudal system died with her. Return all the land, gems, artifacts etc to their rightful origin.
