Still plugging away at my Mass Effect Trilogy playthrough, now pretty much 2/3rds of the way through Mass Effect 3 and loving it. I forgot how fun this game is to play, which makes me sad that the Xbox One backwards compatibility does not support online multiplayer.

Pro Tip: I think if you level up Liara all the way you can reduce her Singularity cooldown time by 100% and if you pair her with another Biotic the resulting chaos you can inflict on the enemy is extremely satisfying.

If anyone came close to saving that trainwreck of a film it was Judd Hirsch and his plucky band of orphans.

Independence Day Resurgence. It was so bad, just absolutely fucking terrible, and this is coming from someone who really enjoys the original.

I'm probably biased, but it's really, really good. "With You," "Both Hands," and "Trouble With Boys" are the stand-outs.

In no particular order because I'm lazy:

I love that scene in The Nice Guys where they enter the Airport Hotel, oblivious to the fact that there's a Hitman killing everyone inside, then slowly back out when they realize how fucked they are.

'Celebrate Ricky Sargulesh' is a great fucking episode of Party Down, he's definitely one of the best guest stars in a show that was full of them.

I was on the fence about getting this game, then I read a lot of reviews…and remained on the fence. This comment has convinced me to get it, that sounds bananas.

I would snicker, but Pedro the Lion is one of my all time favorite bands, and that just might be the worst band name in music history.

Midnight Special started out so well, then just didn't really follow through, I couldn't help but feel disappointed afterwards. Anyways, Jeff Nichols is still one of the more interesting filmmakers out there today, and Shotgun Stories is still the shit. Looking forward to what he does next.

The first Goon was a movie I thought would be just a guilty pleasure but ended up being a really solid movie that I still adore. It looks like they got the original cast back together too, can't wait.

I mean it's just one season, it's themes of boundless empathy and friendship regardless of race/gender/creed fit the Thanksgiving/Christmas Season, and the new season should (hopefully, please god give it to me now) be premiering soon. Also it's fucking great, even if it can be really corny sometimes…

I am pretty much halfway through Mass Effect 2 on XB1, which means I'm halfway through my full Mass Effect Trilogy run. It's great, I mean we all know it's great, and it's obviously the best of the three (even though I prefer ME1.)
