Titanic robbing both this film and Elliott Smith of Oscars makes me so sad.

"Any valediction, boyo?" is so fucking stone cold.
When I get that craving I'll usually just binge watch scenes on Youtube, most of the time it helps
Fuuuuuck this scene is so good and, as noted in the article, it's completely created from scratch for the Film adaptation.
Big Pete and his Dad from The Adventures of Pete & Pete. The episode where Big Pete struggles to carry a conversation and avoid awkward silences in the Car with his Dad is like my life.
If there isn't an episode where Cage rides a rocket into Latveria to punch Dr. Doom in the face over a $200 debt, then I will be extremely disappointed.
I believe everything that that woman said…because it was exactly what I wanted to hear.
I'm gonna follow him home…Kill his whole family.

If I remember correctly, this movie even does the "character says the title of the movie" trope as well.
I didn't even know this existed until five minutes ago, and now I want it more than anything I've ever wanted.

Björk: I have to go to the toilet.
SG: You remember the difference between the toilet and the sofa, right?
Björk: I think so.
SG: Remember how angry I got.
Björk: It smells like bad eggs.
SG: Because that's what happens when you boil the cushions of the couch you've been urinating on.
I very much agree with everything you've all said here and would like to add: I feel like this Seymour contradiction is lightly addressed at the end of Roof Beam when Buddy recounts the story of Seymour throwing a rock at their childhood friend for no real reason. There was always something ugly hidden deep inside…
I got a lot of reading done while on vacation in Vienna, ending up going on a pretty big Salinger kick and read Nine Stories, Raise High the Roof Beam Carpenters and re-read Franny and Zooey. All were excellent.
Hey, wood! We should builllld something.
Yea Knifin' Around is probably their best episode, either that or Flipmode, with an honorable mention to Baffler Meal.
SG: Is that right?
Thom Yorke: No.
