Trust me, you're better off. Having Final Fantasy Tactics in your hand, available at a moments notice, is terrible. I keep saying "just one more battle" or " let me just upgrade my abilities" every couple of minutes.

My God, he's dead.

Controversial Opinion: Eldorado is a really great album, one of the best of the 70's. Wait. That isn't really a controversial opinion. Or is it? Do we hate ELO here? I'm so confused.

Oof, yea that whole album is fantastic. Now that I think about it, The Modern Lovers are the only band I go crazy for with the bootleg/live albums. I think it's a combination of their very short existence and their tendency to change up their songs each time they play, like there are so many versions of Roadrunner

That mash up of "What More Can I Say?" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is so fucking good.

One of my favorites is this bootleg that's kind of an audio love letter from Jonathan Richman to this girl he was dating while he was still in The Modern Lovers. He covers Singin' in the Rain and I think it's got a few Modern Lovers songs on it as well. It's really awkward, adorable and catchy all at the same time.

I have so many favorite moments in gaming, but I don't think anything will ever top grabbing the wand and falling gracefully through the clouds in SMB3. I'd always try to jump and catch the wand perfectly, as I'm sure everyone else did.

I remember 9 year old me discovering Princess Peach's Castle at the Royal Raceway track in Mario Kart 64 and it blew my goddamn mind. If I remember correctly it's just a bridge leading to a door you can't open, but I would waste hours exploring it, thinking there would be some amazing reward or secret because 9 year

I'm crazy deep in both Final Fantasy Tactics (Phone) and Fallout: New Vegas (360.) With FFT I think I've just accepted that it's my all time favorite game and that it will haunt me in it's various remakes and ports for the rest of my life. Also I love that square-enix uses the Ivalice setting for it's homages; FF12

I didn't even know who she was before that set, I was just there early to get front row for Beirut. Body Talk is now one of my favorite pop albums. Oh and whilst performing "Dancing On My Own" she looked at me and winked…so I got that going for me.

Yea that may have been a bit harsh, they're definitely very talented and really the only ones in their field doing this kind of thing. Hell I've seen them live twice and they've always brought it. The first time was at Bonnaroo and they were the final act of the night. Robyn played right before and completely

That's a shame. The Gulag Orkestar is one of my favorite albums, so I have some sort of weird devotion to it. It holds up pretty well, but everything after that has been pretty mediocre. I hate it when a band has a stellar first album, then turns out to be a big gimmick on subsequent albums.
