He was, at best, fine in Black Panther. A movie that was also, at best, fine. Good in Creed, though. Good on the Wire. His acting is, well, fine.

On that, I agree. I first remember oater being applied to a more contemporary movie in Costner’s A Perfect World. No horses to be seen. It (and it’s ilk) are often used by reviewers to give the impression they’re in-the-know in the film community. I have to reserve judgment on that, here though. Maybe she smoke jumps,…
That is the age-old shorthand for "Western". It's been around as a thing for decades.
I came to say the same thing. Perfect. Take your Star.
I dunno if it’s about that. I think, especially for Valdes, the role is stultifying and playing third fiddle on a show is great in the beginning, but maybe you wanna branch out and see what else you can do.
Ok. Very few ever read their comics, ever, either.
Cloak and Dagger are, at best, 3rd tier heroes. Mostly they live in the “almost villains” category . No one reads their comics, ever, either.
Didn’t they just have this idea in The Boys? Maybe I'm thinking of the comic
Did Kylo need to get laid? Absolutely. Guy needed to get a missile into an ejector port quite badly, seemed to me.
Out of the Blue. Spinoff of Mork and Mindy (itself a spinoff of Happy Days) following a kindly, ineffectual angel.
This. Oh so This.
The Avengers Stage 1 suit was just his hokey USO outfit. This is supposed to be a fighting outfit.
Thank you. The suit looks fine in the comic, but this thing would pick up dirt in a second and is just too bright. Coupled with it looking like an over built crotch rocket jacket, it just looked bad to me. They made OG Cap’s outfit look functional. This looks like cosplay
I think you’re forgetting Bucky witnessing Sam getting harrassed by cops while having a conversation in the street. I don't say the light clicked on then, but it helped give Bucky a perspective to build on at the end.
It was cool that Glenn Close did a funky dance....But I don’t know that I need to see that dance on a loop at the top of your page for so long. Still. Close got the moves.
Just popping in to vote that F/WS should be the short form, going forward.
I guess just for the teaser. Interesting to know.
What are the quotes about? Is Rita Moreno secretly still 25? I went back and looked at the teaser and STILL didn’t recognize her. Glad she’s in it though.
Looks very similar to the original, with the older lady in the teaser standing in for Pops, I guess? If there’s anything I want them to keep from the OG it’s Russ Tamblyn’s effortless uneven bars dismount in the middle of a sentence. I was worried about this, but it looks pretty good.
Let a character death mean something, for a change
