Winter Soldier has his own show.  SOLO did NOT build much hope for a double being liked.  There was no way to win. (‘cept, of course, not to play). It was miles better than the Carrie Fisher face.

I had this same discussion with a person a couple of eps ago.  Their argument was “because it would be really cool and I want Grogu to go off with Ahsoka”  From a plot, story, pacing, and thematic point of view, not so much

I mean, it’s easy to engineer a fight here where Bo Katan wins the saber from Mando. It’s easy to “whoops!” drop the saber at Gideon’s feet and have him fight Bo -Katan..... And the whole thing is stupid anyway because it’s Bo Katan who made the big spiel about adopting dumb, superstitious, fundamentalist ways.
