The Walking Dead Season 2 has some truly killer credits themes. In The Pines is my favourite of the lot.

Oh yeah, this is a great choice.

Hit us up with a link bud!

"Johnny Titballs" is now the funniest thing I have ever heard someone say on TV.

There's a lot to love in this thread. I like Doctor Who to an objectively weird degree, I've seen a bunch of the classic series, I listen to the audio dramas, I own a shirt with a TARDIS on it that I will never, ever wear outside the house. But even I am creeped the fuck out by self-described Whovians. Those guys love

Gotta jump in here to say how glad I am to see Richard having a larger role. He was one of the funniest characters in his, like, three scenes last season, so I really hope his level of cheery uselessness is maintained throughout the season. "Fudge me!"

I pretty much never play sports games, especially those with a realistic, simulationist edge to them, but Skate is now and always will be my jam. Any time a game can make just moving around the environment feel fun and creative, it's probably done something wonderfully right.

Nicccccccce

I'm taking at least 50% of the credit for this Yume Nikki love.

The chinstrap beard and no moustache look is a high risk high reward endeavour.

When FFXV is finally forced out like a kidney stone, I'd love to see the series do a complete 180, aesthetically. Ditch the vaguely futuristic J-pop health goths, bring Amano back as a lead designer, and have the entire cast be festooned with clashing-pattern scarves and dreamcatchers.

The only Cid to ever make anything approaching sense was FFVII's. A grouchy old mechanic with crushed dreams should wear high-waisted cargo pants, a bomber jacket, and a daintily knotted WWI-era pilot's silk scarf.

I've never played the Dissidia games, but I really love that they tried to make Amano's original, impressionistic character designs work on semi-realistic looking models. I think the man's a genius, but lord knows how he ever kept his job designing characters- his concept artwork is practically abstract expressionism.

I wouldn't think so. It'll look its age by now, but its art direction is still among gaming's best, full of great ideas that are realized well.

I don't think it's very common at all- in fact, I've never seen anyone else complain about getting it. Just bad luck on my part, I guess. If you're planning on playing it (which you should, it really is great) just make sure you've got more than one save file in case of emergencies, and you should be all right.

If I didn't already know that GOAT stood for Greatest Of All Time this comment would be so weird.

Appropriately enough for a game that is about wind, the full-bodied, subwoofer-intensive "whoosh!" sounds that accompany gusts of wind in Flower are satisfying at a very deep level.

Oh God…. banshees….

For whatever reason the first game that comes to mind in the sound design department is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It has lots and lots of little sound effects that contribute to this incredible body of sound that both contributes to the atmosphere of the game and gives you auditory feedback about what's
