She may be frustrated, but I wouldn’t say bitter. That frustration may be due raising valid points on white supremacy based upon a black person’s perspective, only to be dismissed and stereotyped as “bitter”.

There’s nothing wrong with a single father raising his own children. In this case it may have been the best thing. I don’t think he’d be anywhere near this well adjusted had his mother raised him with her belief system.
