As far as his work, I wasn't talking about this article in particular. I was referring to the deluge of bad reviews that the American music press gave the recent album.

No matter how critical an article may be about Morrissey's work, or his personality and actions, writers cannot help but quote his lyrics. There is something to be said for that.

When the whole "do you remember industrial" conversation comes up in music circles, nobody ever talks about JG Thirwell's "Scraping Foetus off the Wheel." That man deserves to be listened to, and spoken of.

They just released a new album this year. HILARIOUSLY awful.

Filth Pig is really good despite popular opinion. It just had to follow the monoliths that were the first three "proper" Ministry albums. Tough acts to follow by any band.

While I don't think it is as strong as P69 or TMIATTTT… I have a soft spot for Filth Pig. I really think it is under-rated. People in the 90's were way too harsh on that and Ministry never really recovered (but that was probably more do to substance abuse than any bad review).

One of these days, Einsturzende Neubauten will assume its place as not just one of the greatest industrial bands of all time, but one of the greatest bands PERIOD. Blixa Bargeld is the Werner Herzog of music.

Nobody. In the end, the war will be so terrible that the Iron Throne will be dismantled sword by sword.

I loved the usual technique of running one joke into the ground this time around, but I cannot imagine how anyone thinks that there is anything even slightly thought-provoking in this. A rather good episode, but not for the reasons written here.

"Yes, the Smiths were morbid bastards"… why the affirmation? Were people doubting this?
