I used to have an 18' Checkmate with a 175hp outboard. It did 75mph easily. Held the record on our lake for years. Now, freaking PWC’s will do 80. That’s scary. Mine tops out at around 62, that’s plenty fast for me.
That’s largely it. There aren’t really alternators to speak of, no A/C, no accessory drive/belts. Also, much of the emissions equipment etc. is in the shaft to the lower unit (read: transmission).

Fleets usually have a yearly set fuel price, therefore they can budget for fuel for the year.
Exactly this. Will someone buy it? Yes, I’m sure someone will. Will they be sorely disappointed down the road when they see another for sale for 8k less? Yes, yes the will. It’s a CP for me.

Well, I know you don’t. You’re a girl who’s in to GT40's and Patrick Dempsey. It was more a question for the guys....
Serious question: Who’s hotter, her or crazy mom who put her kids in the back of a Corvette?
Same here.
Yes. Yes she is.
Personal best: 13 in a Subaru GL-10 4 door sedan / 11 in a Jeep CJ-7. Yes, I drove with 13 people in my poor Subaru. The worst part: Everyone having to pile out when I got to a speed bump, then get everyone back in again. The joys of being the only guy at summer camp with a car...
I’m definitely in the latter. Living in an area with no traffic helps of course. Being cheap also helps.
Fair point, and good on her.
I call shenanigans on your last point. If she wants to drive a manual, by God, let her drive a damn manual.
